GENERAL SUMMARY
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Proven Behavior Solutions, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and language disorders; determining specific needs of children who display speech, language and hearing difficulties. You will work closely with our team of ABA professionals to design and implement intervention plans that address the unique communication needs of each client. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing progress assessments to evaluate communication and language abilities
Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans
Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to address speech and language goals
Implement evidence-based practices and interventions to support communication development
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
Educate and support families on effective communication strategies to promote carryover in the home environment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and interventions.
Provide AAC services including assessment, intervention, maintenance, and programming
Complete clinical documentation for ongoing treatment planning and insurance billing
PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Master’s degree in speech and language pathology from an accredited school required
Interest in working within a collaborative ABA model required
Experience with working with children with ASD preferred
Maintaining a valid MA license
Follow MA State and ASHA ethical guidelines
CPR/BLS preferred
Valid driver’s license
Strong organizational skills
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to occasionally lift children, materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, sitting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
