Guided by our commitment to Building Tomorrow, we combine innovation, operational excellence, and a high-performance culture to shape the future of technology manufacturing.Role Overview:We are seeking a highly technical Test Developer to architect and build scalable manufacturing test platforms supporting CPU & GPU server-level products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).This is not a test execution or validation role. This is a software platform engineering and systems architecture role focused on backend systems, orchestration, observability, scalability, and manufacturing integration.The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing scalable software systems within manufacturing or industrial environments and will help establish the software foundation for future manufacturing test systems.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable test execution frameworksBuild orchestration and coordination systems across manufacturing stationsArchitect data pipelines for telemetry, logs, traceability, and analyticsDefine APIs and integrations with MES/SFC and factory automation systemsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve system bottlenecks and scalability issuesImplement fault-tolerant and observable systemsEstablish software development standards and CI/CD practicesCollaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, automation, infrastructure, and engineering teamsDrive standardization across manufacturing software platformsSupport scalable and high-throughput manufacturing environmentsRequired Qualifications:8–12 years of software engineering or platform engineering experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experienceStrong experience with backend or distributed systems architectureExperience with UI/frontend developmentProficiency in Python, C++, and/or LabVIEWExperience designing scalable systems focused on performance and concurrencyStrong API design and systems integration experienceExperience with telemetry, observability, and data pipelinesFamiliarity with manufacturing environments and systemsExperience integrating with MES / SFC systemsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with server, hardware, or datacenter platformsExperience with TestStand or similar test executive systemsReal-time systems and telemetry experienceFull-stack software development experienceExperience supporting NPI to HVM manufacturing environmentsWhy Join Compal?This is an opportunity to help build manufacturing technology from the ground up inside a rapidly growing global organization.
