Information Systems Manager (GIS Focus)Contract-to-Hire Onsite - Weatherford, Texas 76086Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flex scheduling options available, including 4x10s or 9x80s)Work Authorization: USC/GC – Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.Background Check: Must pass a Drug Screen & Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire.PLEASE NOTE: GIS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITIONSeeking an experienced Information Systems Manager to oversee enterprise information systems, GIS operations, and business application support within a public sector environment. This position will lead a small technical team consisting of Systems Analysts and a GIS Analyst while serving as both a strategic leader and hands-on technical resource for enterprise systems and GIS initiatives.This role supports a mix of operational support and project-based initiatives, functioning as Tier 2/Tier 3 support for enterprise applications and end-to-end GIS services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing ESRI environments, enterprise applications, system integrations, and cross-departmental technical initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage enterprise information systems, including GIS, ERP, asset management, permitting/land management, public safety systems, and other business applicationsOversee ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including architecture, administration, upgrades, integrations, performance monitoring, and long-term roadmap planningManage and mentor a team of Systems Analysts and GIS personnel, including workload prioritization, training, performance management, and professional developmentCoordinate enterprise application support, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations across departmentsSupport automation and process improvement initiatives using technologies such as Python, SQL, APIs, and scripting toolsMaintain and expand GIS capabilities, including ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal, ArcGIS Pro, and related ESRI technologiesPartner with department leadership and stakeholders to identify business needs, technical requirements, and process improvementsProvide technical guidance, training, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiencesAssist with strategic planning, budgeting, and long-term technology initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Data Analytics, STEM, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered)5+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise information systems and GIS operationsStrong hands-on experience with ESRI products and enterprise GIS architectureExperience with enterprise geodatabases, web GIS applications, SQL, Python, and system integrationsExperience supporting enterprise business systems in a complex environmentAbility to lead technical teams while remaining hands-on with technical initiativesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsValid Texas Driver’s License
