HWIL Integration Lead

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a senior HWIL Integration Lead to own the design, integration, testing, and deployment of Hardware-in-the-Loop systems for missile programs at a large defense company. This role supports real flight hardware tied to guidance, navigation, control, avionics, and subsystems. You will lead a small HWIL team and act as the technical interface across engineering, program leadership, and government stakeholders. This position is hands-on, highly technical, and onsite in a secure lab environment.Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldEight or more years of experience in electrical hardware or avionics integrationDirect experience designing, building, and deploying HWIL systemsExperience supporting missile, aerospace, or flight hardware programsActive Secret security clearanceAbility to work onsite in a secure environmentNice to HaveMaster’s degree in EngineeringExperience with missile guidance or GNC systemsBackground supporting live test events or intercept testingExperience transitioning programs into formal government compliancePrior experience leading small technical teams
