Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to create engaging and educational experiences for young learners.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to explore and learn
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Observe and assess children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Adhere to state licensing regulations and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Previous experience working with young children preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Pass background check and fingerprinting clearance
