We have over 250 employees across the US.Job SummaryThe manufacturing technician may hold a primary function but has multiple responsibilities across secondary processes. The role may include aspects of assembly, kitting, material handling, tending machines, running a process line (anodize/passivation), silk screening, deburring, laser marking, packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.Essential Job FunctionsSpecialized Job FunctionsMaterial Handling & Kitting: Raw material handling including cutting, prepping, kitting, and distribution of various types of metals. Warehouse processes including order picking, cycle counts, material identification and inventory control. Assembly: Follow prints to assemble parts and products. Laser marking: Operate, program, set up and troubleshoot laser systems for part marking. Finishing: Perform deburr, tumbling, polishing, and ultrasonic cleaning processes. Coating & Cleaning: Perform passivation and anodizing processes. Ensure that bath chemicals are maintained such that the tanks remain within established and documented operating ranges, to include pH, salinity, PPM.Quality: Measure and document engineering and fabrication parts, using a variety of tools. Visually inspect parts for defects using scope. Packaging: Label and package product for shipping. General Job FunctionsResponsible for the setup, maintenance, and tear down of work areas, equipment, and materials; keeps work area neat and tidy, including sweep and mop daily. Organizes such materials and equipment, data, and workflow to ensure job requirements are achieved.Read, interpret, and adhere to work instructions, regulations, manuals, and quality procedures.Properly operate, maintain, and store mechanical tools and equipment required to perform the job.Report job status to the supervisor, including any malfunctions, non-conformances, damaged equipment, or other obstacles to production.Ensure the on-time completion of tasks and reviews work for quality and completeness. Take into consideration and participates in activities that fulfill compliance requirements to the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Quality Standards and the Quality Manual, as applicable.Demonstrate clear and effective communication, both verbal and written.
