Role: Software Engineer (Python, Java) Gen AIDuration: starts with 6 months and go longer term with extensionLocation: 100% remoteWorking hours: CET hours over lap 3 hours ESTWe are seeking highly skilled software engineers with strong expertise in Python, Java, FastAPI, AWS, and exposure to Generative AI (GenAI). The ideal candidates will be primarily Python-centric but must have hands-on experience with Java as well.Roles and Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python, Java, and FastAPI.Implement and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Develop solutions leveraging AWS cloud services for scalability and reliability.Incorporate GenAI capabilities into applications where applicable.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.Document development processes, architectures, and standards.Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose adoption where beneficial.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in Python development with a strong portfolio of projects.Hands-on experience with Java programming.Strong understanding of FastAPI for building APIs and backend services.Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, etc.Exposure to Generative AI concepts, frameworks, or tools.Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Tools and Technologies:Python, Java, FastAPI frameworks.AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, etc.).Git or other version control systems.Familiarity with GenAI tools, libraries, and frameworks.CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.API design and documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
