Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Audio Visual Technician, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining AV equipment for various events. Core tasks include managing audio systems, video conferencing setups, projectors, and lighting equipment, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues during events. The technician will coordinate closely with the production team to ensure seamless event execution. Qualifications Proficiency in Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including setup, operation, and maintenanceStrong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues during live eventsExperience with Video Conferencing systems and technologiesKnowledge of Lighting and Projector equipment setup and usageAttention to detail and ability to work effectively under time constraintsStrong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with event production processes and practices is a plusRelevant certifications or training in AV technologies will be considered highly advantageous
