Assembler / Production Technician | 1st Shift | $21.50/hr Location: Sylmar, CA Wage: $21.50 / Hour Shift: 6 am - 2:30 pm (Monday – Friday) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and mechanically inclined Assembler / Production Technician to join our rapidly moving manufacturing facility in Sylmar. If you have hands-on experience with hand and power tools, a commitment to quality standards, and thrive in an assembly line environment, you are the ideal candidate. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient production of high-quality products. Core Responsibilities Precision Assembly: Perform detailed assembly of components and products precisely according to engineering specifications and written work instructions. Tool Operation: Proficiently operate a variety of hand and power tools (drills, rivet guns, air tools, etc.) to complete assembly tasks quickly and accurately. Quality Assurance: Conduct consistent quality checks and visual inspections on finished products to ensure 100% compliance with company standards and reduce defects. Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet aggressive production goals and maintain consistent assembly line flow. Safety & 5S: Maintain a clean and organized work area and strictly adhere to all facility safety protocols and guidelines. Mentorship: Assist supervisors in training new employees on proper assembly techniques, safety practices, and quality standards. Reporting: Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisory staff. Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Aptitude: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow complex blueprints or diagrams, and effective verbal communication skills.
