MS/Tele FLOAT (Contract Role)Location: Watertown, NY, 13601Duration: 13 weeksShift: 12-Hour Night | 7p-7aGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekWeekly Pay Rate: $2,160 - $2,304; (Negotiable based on experience)ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unitsMonitor and interpret telemetry data and respond to changes in patient cardiac rhythmsConduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vitals, and document findings in MeditechAdminister medications and treatments accurately and timely per provider ordersCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plansEducate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, discharge instructions, and health maintenanceFloat between assigned units based on hospital needs while maintaining continuity of careMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing actions and patient responsesAdhere to infection control and patient safety protocolsRequirements:Licensure:Active NY State RN license (must be current)Certifications:BLS (Basic Life Support) - RequiredACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - RequiredExperience:Minimum 1 completed and successful travel assignment requiredMeditech EMR experience requiredEducation:Graduate of an accredited School of NursingSkills:Strong clinical knowledge in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursingStrong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.Additional Info:Will accept local candidates.First-time travelers will NOT be considered.Local Rate applies for candidates residing within 60 miles.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated resume.Our recruitment team will reach out within 24 hours.
