This role involves critical assessment, close monitoring of physiological parameters, pain management, and swift intervention to ensure patient stability and prevent complications as they emerge from anesthesia. The PACU nurse acts as a vital link in the patient's care continuum, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to facilitate a safe and effective recovery.RequiredJob RequirementsGraduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hireRegistered Nurse: AR, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR and ACLS requiredMinimum of [e.g., 1-2 years] of recent experience in PACU, Critical Care (ICU), or Emergency Department (ED) nursing required.Experience with various anesthesia types and surgical procedures is preferred.Where You'll WorkCHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving Arkansas, is part of CommonSpirit Health.
