MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Description: Responsible for the design and documentation of projects and products. Each design must be managed to achieve a satisfactory balance of three parameters: Performance - meet all technical, quality, and regulatory requirements Schedule - meet time requirements Cost - meet budget requirements Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) 2 years Machine Design experience 2 years SolidWorks experience Good mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machine design and manufacturing processes Ability to apply mechanical engineering standards and techniques Strong communication skills Knowledge of hydraulics and/or pneumatics Willingness to travel on a limited basis as required
