Due to the nature of this work candidates must be a U.S. Citizen Satellite Mission Ops Manager - Key Summary Lead a team of spacecraft operators and manage mission operations, ground infrastructure, and on-orbit activities. Role covers mission design, planning, spacecraft testing, operations, and anomaly resolution in a fast-paced environment. Core Responsibilities * Lead development of spacecraft CONOPS, mission planning, and operational simulations * Build, train, and manage the spacecraft operations team * Support flight software configuration, spacecraft checkout, and pre-launch testing * Conduct on-orbit operations, data analysis, and anomaly resolution * Develop mission planning, orbit determination, and automation tools (Python) * Interface with customers and ground station networks * Collaborate with spacecraft systems engineering * Work flexible hours as needed to support mission ops Required Experience * Team leadership in spacecraft operations * Automated mission ops development * Mission CONOPS planning/execution * Python programming and mission-design tools (FreeFlyer, STK, etc.) * Data analysis for performance validation and anomaly detection * Ground segment and comm-chain familiarity * Strong technical and communication skills Desired Experience * Spacecraft avionics, failure modes, and debugging * Orbital mechanics and OD techniques * GN&C simulation/testing * DoD/USG program experience; ability to hold a clearance Education * BS in Aerospace Engineering or related field * 10+ years relevant experience #cj
