Press Operator L2- 2nd shift

Position Purpose:Responsible for performing Stamping Press operations.Hourly or Salary Range: $17.75 - $20.75Essential Functions:Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety Standards in the workplaceAll essential functions as required for Press Operator Level 1Run Table Stamping Press, Web Stamping Press, and Bracket Dies, Rovetta 1Adjust presses when necessaryUse height gauges, micrometers, calipers, pin gaugesReworkFills out tagsFills out steel log sheet and Reads blueprintsAlways keeps work area cleanWorks in a safe manner alwaysOther job duties may be assigned by supervisorEducation and Training:* High School DiplomaMinimum Qualifications:Good verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read and understand blueprintsMust be able to use measuring equipmentMust be able to work independentlyAbility to work well with othersPhysical Demands:Must be able to lift 25lbsMust be able stand continuously for 8 - 12 hoursMust be able to bend, twist and lift repetitivelyDemonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulationsAbility to work in tight placesGood hand/eye coordination and good motor skillsEnvironmental Conditions:Ear and Eye protection always required in all production areasExposure to noisy work environmentExposure to hot and humid conditionsExposure to coolants, oils, grease and waterSteel toe boots with metatarsal guards are always requiredWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
