Revit Integrator / CAD
Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a detail-oriented Revit Integrator to support specialized information management and technology consulting operations in Houston, TX!Position Overview:In this role, you will serve as a critical Coordinator and Upgrade Specialist for complex engineering models and drawings. Unlike traditional drafting roles, you will not be creating models from scratch; instead, you will audit, analyze, and standardize existing Revit and AutoCAD content received from various engineering firms.You will be responsible for ensuring all technical documentation meets strict client standards before integrating them into master model libraries.This is a 6-month contract with strong potential for long-term employment. Key Responsibilities:Model Integration & Standardization: Update and maintain project models, transforming them into Master Models across all disciplines while adhering to rigorous client standards.Legacy Data Analysis: Analyze legacy CAD files to map previous versions of CAD standards to current requirements.Project Team Support: Fulfill sheet and model requests to support ongoing construction and facility needs for multiple project teams.Library Management: Catalog and update drawing management system libraries to ensure data integrity for future requests.Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks and peer reviews of work products generated by junior staff or new hires.Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and follow structured quality processes.Reporting: Track metrics and KPIs, provide timely status updates to team leads, and take part in progress meetings.Required Qualifications:Experience: 3+ years of recent experience using Revit and AutoCAD tools, preferably within the construction or manufacturing fields.Technical Expertise: Proven experience maintaining construction models and plan sets; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Education: High School Diploma required; Technical program degree or professional certification (Drafting, Autodesk, Architectural, etc.) is highly preferred.Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative on new tools.Ideal Candidate Profile:We are seeking a "standards expert" who enjoys the analytical side of BIM and CAD. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail and enjoys the challenge of bringing disparate engineering files into a unified, compliant standard.
