(Remote) Senior Manager, Operations

For our client, we are seeking a (remote) Senior Manager Operations to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Aerospace & Defense environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $140,000 – $160,000 annuallyResponsibilities Lead DevOps, Platform, and IT teams in daily operations Assess and remediate legacy systems to meet industry standards Design the support model for the new platform during its rollout Manage contract lifecycles and vendor relationships within Operations Establish operational metrics and drive process improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capacity planning and client commitments Act as the primary cost authority for Sales regarding Operations workQualifications 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or IT leadership 3+ years of experience directly managing technical teams Experience with modernizing legacy infrastructure in a live production environment Proficient in designing Operations support models for new platforms Experience in vendor and tooling contract management Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and CI/CD processes Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaborationBenefits 3 weeks' vacation and 5 personal days Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits from day one Employee stock ownership and 401K matching programs Lifestyle rewards Remote work flexibilityOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
