Pastoral Candidate For Chattanooga CongregationThe Alliance South District is seeking a qualified pastoral candidate for a smaller congregation in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Please do not contact the church directly. Specific Information: North River Church, a smaller but vibrant congregation in Hixson, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time lead pastor. The area of Hixson that North River Church is in is a part of Chattanooga. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate leader to guide our church and help us continue our mission of impacting our community for Christ. We are a church with a heart for our neighbors, and we want a pastor who shares that passion. The ideal candidate will be a man of God with a strong commitment to biblical teaching, a desire to build authentic relationships, and a vision for community outreach. North River currently has an intentional interim pastor who has been actively directing the congregation in finding ways to more effectively reach out to those around us. North River currently has people ministering in a memory care facility near the church, a hospice care ministry, and Good News Club. North River is becoming more multicultural with the potential of developing into a ministry to those who speak Spanish in our area. Within sight of North River is a new apartment complex which is scheduled to begin renting in January, 2025 with 290 units total when fully rented. In addition, a large residential development has been approved less than two miles from North River which will contain a total of 430 new homes. In the past, the local community near North River was replaced with commercial businesses. The new residential projects are bringing the community back to North River!
