Medical Scribe - Float (Sandy Springs)

Prestige Staffing has been tasked by one of our best clients to find a Medical Scribe to interview and go to work ASAP! Candidate must be hard working and a self-starter. This role is onsite and normal business (7:30 or 8:00 start time) hours full time. Float between Alpharetta (2 days a week) & Sandy Springs (3 days a week)ResponsibilitiesAccompany medical provider into exam rooms and transcribe a history, physical examination, and other documentation directly related to the physician-patient encounterDocument resulted patient orders including laboratory test, radiology etc.List all diagnosis, follow up instructions, and prescriptions as dictated by physicianDocument any procedures performed during the visitOther clerical tasks to help the medical provider work more efficiently and effectivelyMaintain professional appearance and conductCompliance with HIPAAQualifications1 year in primary care or internal medicine experience as a Medical Scribe in the office in real timePrior knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy and medicationHigh school diploma requiredAbility to type 65 WPMComputer proficiencyEPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIREDStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle high-pressure situations effectively and calmlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMaintains a positive, caring attitude towards patientsApply today for immediate consideration.#ZP- Pro
