Construction Project Manager

Position Title: Construction Project ManagerLocation: Onsite | San Diego, CACompensation: $110,000 – $150,000Employment Type: Full-timePosition Summary:A growing commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead renovation, tenant-improvement, and ground-up projects across multiple states. This role oversees projects from preconstruction through close-out, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and aligned with high standards of quality and safety.The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized construction professional who can manage multiple projects while coordinating closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full lifecycle of renovation, tenant improvement, and ground-up construction projectsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controlsSupervise site superintendents and support project engineersCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers across multiple job sitesReview drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure project accuracy and constructabilityManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontract agreementsLead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients, architects, and internal teamsEnsure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and quality expectationsOversee project close-out including punch lists and final documentationQualifications:5+ years of construction project management experienceExperience managing ground-up and residential or commercial renovation projectsStrong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost managementProficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project preferredAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and travel periodically as neededSalary & Benefits:Base salary: $110,000 – $150,000Full-time exempt positionMedical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) retirement planCareer growth within a fast-growing construction organizationPowered by JazzHR
