We are seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Apr 1, 2026, for 160 days. This opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8am-5pm, and involves working alongside a Nurse Practitioner in an inpatient rehab setting. Job Details Location: Ohio Start Date: Apr 1, 2026 LOA: 160 days Provider Type Needed: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide consultative care for patients recovering from minor trauma, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, respiratory illness, stroke, spinal cord injury, trauma, orthopedic cases, and general deconditioning Perform injections, blocks, orthotics, and casting as needed Round daily on patients within the rehabilitation unit Collaborate with a Nurse Practitioner for patient management Work within a multidisciplinary team, with medical management supported by the hospitalist team Manage a patient caseload of up to 14 patients per day Additional Information Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required Must be licensed to practice in Ohio Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
