Youth Care Specialist

Organization: Renew Group LLC, Boys' Home Location: Houston, Texas Position Type: Full Time Monday- Friday 3pm-11pm Job Description: Renew Group LLC is currently seeking dedicated, experienced professionals to join our team as Direct Care Specialists at our boys’ home in Houston, Texas. Reporting directly to the Licensed Child Care Administrator, the Direct Care Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, well‑being, and personal growth of residents aged 7–17. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for working with youth. Prior experience in a residential treatment center or similar setting is preferred, along with relevant certifications or training in child care, behavior management, or therapeutic support. Key Responsibilities: Must be able to cook. Supervise children in daily activities and therapeutic programs, adhering to each resident’s individualized care plan Maintain a structured, nurturing environment that promotes emotional, social, and personal development Enforce Agency standards and comply with all state licensing and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements Follow a designated daily routine, including mealtimes, recreational activities, educational support, and evening preparations Collaborate closely with the Licensed Child Care Administrator and multidisciplinary team to evaluate resident progress and adjust care strategies as needed Hours Available: Monday- Friday (3pm-11pm) Qualifications: To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Valid TX Driver’s license Must be 21 years of age or older per licensing requirements Prior full-time working experience, preferably in a similar environment and/or with children Experience working with individuals with emotional disorders Knowledge of behavior modification and therapeutic settings Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to write legibly in a concise and understandable manner Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner Ability to work both in a team environment and independently How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their application form along with the required documentation to Renewgroupllc@gmail.com Equal Opportunity Employer: Renew Group LLC is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
