Job DetailsDescriptionDescriptionPerform pre-trip inspection of vehicle to assure safety and road worthinessPrepare shipping papers, invoices and/or receipts for loads to be delivered/returnedDrive truck to destination and perform loading/unloading of delivery as necessary using a hand truckCollect payment for goods when necessaryProperly secure glass-based cargo during transitMaintain cell phone and text contact with supervisorWork outdoors in extreme weather (heat, cold, snow, and rain)Physical DemandsMust regularly stoop, bend, reach, crouch and balanceMust frequently walk, sit, and standMust regularly and repeatedly lift and move up to 50 lbs.Push/pull up to 250 lbs. utilizing hand truck and/or pallet jackThese duties involve 20 – 40 customer deliveries per day with daily aggregate weights of over 15,000 lbs.Skills & QualificationsMust hold a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A or B, from the state of residence.(3) years related experience and/or trainingMinimum of high school diploma or GEDGood interpersonal skills (i.e., customer relations)Must be insurable by the employer’s motor vehicle liability carrierMust follow safe work practices and proceduresHours: Tuesday - Friday (typical); Mondays and overtime as required.CompensationStarting rate: $31.07 per hourBenefitsMedicalDental Vision Life InsurancePaid Time Off401k
