Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: St Charles, MO Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,748 to $1,948 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. Current state license in good standing with the State License Board. Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). One year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Client requires experience working with ventilator management and arterial blood gas sampling. BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred. Experience operating invasive and non-invasive ventilators, performing tracheostomy care, suctioning, and bedside respiratory procedures such as arterial puncture. Experience with capnography and 12-lead EKG monitoring preferred. Ability to perform patient transport and assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube management per policy. Clinical documentation skills including respiratory care record charting and charge capture.
