Description: Baker Manufacturing CompanyJob DescriptionJob Title: Mori CNC Mill Operator – 1st ShiftCompensation: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour DOEHours: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMOvertime: Earlier start times and mandatory Saturday overtime may be required based on business needsMori CNC Mill Operator Job Summary:The Mori CNC Mill Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring Mori horizontal milling machines used to machine metal components to precise specifications. This position requires strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC milling operations, blueprint reading, tool offsets, inspections, and maintaining production quality standards.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Set up and operate Mori CNC milling machines according to setup sheets, blueprints, and work instructionsLoad raw materials and unload finished components while maintaining production flowInstall and change tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets as neededMonitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiencyInspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawingsPerform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work areaAccurately complete production documentation and inspection recordsFollow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standardsCommunicate production or quality concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel promptlyQualifications:3+ years of CNC milling experience preferred, specifically with Mori machinesExperience with machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, and offsets requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong understanding of machining processes, feeds, speeds, and tolerancesAbility to use precision measuring instruments accuratelyBasic math skills including fractions, decimals, and measurement conversionsAbility to perform metric-to-inch conversionsHigh school diploma or GED requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the duration of the workdayAbility to work independently and maintain consistent production qualityBenefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceDisability Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO) Requirements: 3+ years of CNC milling experience preferred, specifically with Mori machinesExperience with machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, and offsets requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong understanding of machining processes, feeds, speeds, and tolerancesAbility to use precision measuring instruments accuratelyBasic math skills including fractions, decimals, and measurement conversionsAbility to perform metric-to-inch conversionsHigh school diploma or GED requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the duration of the workdayAbility to work independently and maintain consistent production qualityPIb9e6417c230d-37395-40654285
