Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center - Weekend Security GuardJob Summary:We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Weekend Security Guard to join our team at Cape Regency Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Centerville, a skilled nursing facility. As a Weekend Security Guard, you will ensure the safety and security of residents, employees, the facility, and the facility grounds. This part-time position offers weekly pay at $18 an hour. 4p-12a shift Sat & Sun.Responsibilities:Conduct an inventory of personal belongings on all admissions and safely remove and store any contrabandConduct and document, as a minimum, hourly rounds of the entire facility and its grounds, and immediately report any safety concerns to the supervisorReport/document environmental concernsBe present and assist, if needed, if and when a resident may be struggling to manage emotionsEnsure visitors sign in, show identification, and conduct an inventory searchConduct frequent checks with residents deemed as risk, including physically viewing residents' whereabouts and documentation of where they are, what they are doing, and who, if anyone, they are withAssist staff with room searchesMay be assigned to a resident on a 1:1 basis for a determined period of time, including direct supervision at all timesRequirements:High school diploma or its equivalentPrior security experience requiredMust be able to read, write, and comprehend the English languageMust possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticismBenefits:Competitive and weekly payHoliday pay for hourly and salaried employeesOvertime pay for hourly employeesCareer advancement opportunitiesExclusive employer discount programAvailable for Eligible Team Members:Employer-paid life insurance401(k) with employer matchVacation and personal timeHealth, dental, and vision insuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
