Best Company.Job Summary The Manager of Statistical Reporting will lead a team of Analysts to ensure all statistical reporting requirements are completed accurately and in accordance with established deadlines to support the Company's compliance with regulatory requirements.Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrong project and people management experience.Continuously exhibit and uphold Core Values of Integrity, Accountability, Communication and Teamwork, Innovation and Customer ServiceUnderstand and communicate the impact of statistical reporting to internal stakeholdersOversee the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual statistical filings to ISO, NCCI, NISS, insurance departments and BureausOversee the validity of all data and reporting output from the teamInterpret complex regulatory requirements Provide subject matter expertise on multiple lines of businessRecommend process improvement to leadership teamOversee the analysis and design of information, systems, and/or processes for internal and external reporting, data capture and quality specifications and manual processingManage multiple intra- and inter-departmental projectsCollaborate with business units to align process to regulations and provide assistance responding to regulatory inquiriesEnsure project and department milestones and goals are metGuide and help team members with project issuesResponsible for day-to-day tactical team decisionsTrack employee performance and provide regular and appropriate feedbackWork with employees to collaboratively establish development plansProvide constructive feedback through regular check-ins and delivering performance reviewsLead team through obstacles and time constraints to overcome barriers and successfully deliver resultsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExtensive knowledge of P&C insurance industry and productsAdvanced proficiency with ISO stat reporting and state data calls for property/casualty insurersSolid knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements related to statistical reporting requirementsKnowledge of company's financial and data reporting systemsIntermediate proficiency in SQL programming languageAbility to lead, motivate, influence, and mentor staff Ability to set clear expectations, effectively monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and guidance, and hold staff accountableAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skills Active listening skillsAbility to exercise sound judgement in making critical decisionsAbility to convey technical process information in a clear and concise mannerAttention to detailExcellent organizational skillsProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to provide exceptional customer serviceResearch, analysis and problem-solving skillsAbility to build effective relationships with business partners and influence decisionsAbility to identify and make process and procedure improvement recommendations Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving abilities Ability to lead and support a teamOpen to continuous learningExperience and EducationHigh School Diploma requiredBachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experienceMinimum of 7 years of experience in insurance compliance with concentration in statistical reporting requiredMinimum of 3 years of people and project management (supervision, mentor, lead) experience requiredCertifications (CPCU, AINS, ARC) preferred#LI-JB1#LI-RemotePlease note that this position is not eligible for H-1B visa sponsorship.
