By developing multiple skill sets and learning about various outlets’ operations, the Dishwasher position provides the foundations on which you can build a successful Food & Beverage career.BENEFITS:Competitive Salary!Benefits - Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and other supplemental options!401k with employer MATCH!Paid PTO!Uniforms Provided for most positions!Team Member Hotel Discount Program!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Deliver clean cookware and tableware to various outlets and meeting roomsClean all cookware and tableware to meet hotel and Health and Safety StandardsMaintain cleanliness and safety standards by ensuring floors and equipment are clean and arranged according to Food and Beverage specifications.Separate all silverware and return to proper areaEnsure all glasses are placed in proper glass racks and returned to proper areaEnsure pots, pans, and china storage racks are cleaned, organized and properly stored.Remove trash, and clean trash cans dailySweep and mop floors in dish area throughout shiftClear and Clean all Queen Marys after Banquet Functions Stock clean plates & sauté pans on the line for serviceBreak down and deep clean dish machine (inside & out) Check Hot Boxes (clean as needed)De-Lime dish machine (as directed and per schedule)Remove and clean dishes from Server area (AM and PM shifts)Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/ manager.Perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/ managerSPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to understand, and speak basic English, to effectively take direction and communicate with management and other Team Members.Ability to apply commonsense understanding, in carrying out instructionsAbility to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation.Must be available to work flexible shifts, including Holidays.Must be able to work without constant supervision.Must be able to work well as a part of a team.Must be engaging with other Team Members. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand for long periods of time on hard surface; using arms, hands and legs repetitively; handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee is frequently required to walk, balance, talk, hear and smell.  Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals, warm temperature and be exposed to various food products.Must be able to utilize cleaning chemicals in the daily course of responsibilitiesMust regularly be able to carry and balance up to 25 pounds without assistance.Must be capable of effectively using close vision, distance vision, color vision and sense of smell.Able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situationsQUALIFICATION STANDARDS:High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.Commitment to providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to multi-task, including pushing and pulling objects and carts of varying weights without assistanceAbility to remain active in a fast paced environment, including standing for 8+ hour per dayFlexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidaysEEO Employer
