ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Lancaster, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/27/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. 750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12 shifts may be considered) • 12-week assignment duration • Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7 • Every other weekend requirement • No on-call responsibilities • Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units as required • 3 years of Med/Surg experience required • Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted • South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH • Preferred experience with telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias • Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date (approximately 4 hours of non-billable time) • Attendance at staff meetings required • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Royal blue scrubs required • Epic charting system • Free parking available • Care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses including CHF, COPD, diabetes, post-surgical care, and wound care • Utilize skills in colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management • Work with interdisciplinary support teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Facility: This short-term acute care hospital features 97 staffed beds and serves a diverse patient population with comprehensive medical and surgical services. The facility maintains a 41-bed Med/Surg unit with an average daily census of 36 patients. The hospital provides full interdisciplinary support services and utilizes modern technology including Epic charting systems to deliver quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment. The area provides a perfect blend of Southern hospitality and modern amenities, with beautiful outdoor recreation opportunities and a lower cost of living compared to major cities. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
