Best Company and A+ (Strong), by S&P.For further information about Key Risk please visitThe company is an equal opportunity employer.Key Risk is seeking an enthusiastic individual who is looking to gain skills and technical knowledge assisting with workers' compensation claims.Key functions include but are not limited to the following:Conduct investigations of workers' compensation claims assignedHandle all technical aspects of claims, including coverage, disability benefit management, medical management, file management, subrogation and reservingMaintain and demonstrate knowledge of the Workers' Compensation Act and Rules and Regulations in jurisdictions assignedImmediately notify management of large exposures and comply with reinsurance reporting requirementsMonitor expenses and effectiveness of inside/outside vendorsParticipate in client meetings for training on claims issues and assist with claims service meetings for new accounts as requestedActively in the progress of obtaining a Bachelor's DegreeExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to handle high volumes of work in a time-sensitive, task switching environmentProficient personal computer skills and typing skills.Commitment to increasing knowledge of workers' compensationWe do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.Sponsorship not Offered for this Role
