Sr Web DeveloperOur client, a multi billion dollar global consumer products organization with a focus on employee satisfaction and motivated by a team environment where the management truly works to engage their employees is looking for a Sr Web Developer with a focus on creating public & private web applications.Job DescriptionThe Senior Web Developer's role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new web applications for internal and external use in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications.Collaborate with analysts, developers, and designers to conceptualize and develop of new software programs and applications.Be an agile development team member, responsible for working with the team on release planning, sprint planning, scoping, and engaging with customers.Develop structured programs using the appropriate computer language while adhering to Information Technology (IT)'s standards.Enhance existing programs/systems to correct errors or provide new functions.Design and specify test procedures including unit, system, and integration testing.Design system/program test data, debug programs using appropriate system tools and ensure system/program results are accurate and meet system/program specifications.Provide training, written instruction and daily support to customers, technical staff, support staff, and management.QualificationsA high school diploma/equivalent plus 7 years of related work experienceAn Associate's degree in the field of Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or a related field plus 5 years of related work experienceA Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or a related field and 3 years of related work experienceExperience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience with a JavaScript frameworkUnderstanding of JavaScript MVVM frameworkExperience with ASP.NET MVC DevelopmentExperience with C#.NETUnderstanding of the DOMAbility to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot system applicationsAbility to write well-crafted, semantic HTMLUnderstanding of usability on the web with a focus on customer experienceUnderstanding of MVC pattern for web developmentUnderstanding of Test Driven Development and testing frameworksGood interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioningMust be able to work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to organize and control multiple work assignmentsMust be able to work on more than one project concurrentlyAdditional hours as required including occasional weekendsAbility to interact professionally with staff, customers and management
