Bartender

Job Description Position: BartenderReports To: General Manager (Overall) / Shift Manager (Daily) Role Summary:Bartenders are expected to perform at the highest level in both guest-facing service and behind-the-bar execution - there is no separation between the two. This role requires speed, consistency, strong guest engagement, and full ownership of the bar area, including cleanliness, prep, and closing responsibilities. Key Responsibilities & Non-Negotiables:Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with speed, accuracy, and consistencyEngage guests at the bar; build rapport and create a high-energy, welcoming atmosphereGuide guests through drink options and confidently upsell beverages and specialsAccurately enter and manage bar and service well orders in the POS systemHandle high-volume service tickets from servers while maintaining quality standardsMonitor guest intoxication levels and verify IDs in compliance with lawsHandle cash, tabs, and payments accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all timesSupport teammates as needed (running drinks, assisting the floor, etc.) Side Work & Station Responsibilities:Complete all opening and closing side work as assignedClean, sweep, and mop bar and assigned areas to standardRoll silverware as assigned and maintain required par levelsPrepare and restock mixers, juices, tea, coffee, and other non-alcoholic beveragesCut and maintain fresh fruit and drink garnishesRestock beer, liquor, and bar supplies throughout shiftAssist with inventory organization and bar prepMaintain overall cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas Requirements:Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and spiritsAbility to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong communication and multitasking skillsWillingness to take full ownership of both service and side work responsibilitiesAvailability for nights, weekends, and holidaysAble to obtain Alcohol Pour Permit from City of Johns Creek What Success Looks Like:Fast, accurate ticket timesConsistent drink qualityMinimal loss of draft beer and liquor through proper pouring, handling, and waste controlStrong guest engagement and repeat bar customersClean, fully stocked bar at all timesSide work completed thoroughly and without remindersCompany DescriptionThree Dollar Cafe has been a staple in the Atlanta area for over 40 years, serving Atlanta's favorite hot wings and delicious homemade food.
