Their role encompasses direct patient care, encompassing medication administration, treatments, and comprehensive nursing assessments, all while collaborating closely with healthcare teams across departments to ensure a holistic care approach. Challenges include managing the fluctuating health statuses of patients in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to meet their evolving needs. Furthermore, RNs in this position are responsible for maintaining meticulous records and providing education and support to patients and their families.
