Calibration Technician (Holt Precision Inc)

Making this position suitable for both entry-level candidates and those with experience.Location: At our Holt Precision Inc. branch office in South Windsor, CT and on-site at various customer sites.Day to Day Responsibilities: Complete accurate and timely calibrations in the lab and on customer sitesPerform routine and complex calibration on various equipment per company processes and instructional documentationPerform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures, standards, and protocols Working directly with clients with good communication to provide client updates on services needed Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standardsMaintain calibration activity records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and to dateInteract professionally with customers, providing excellent service and supportCommunicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates You will be successful in this role if you: Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly Can adapt to multiple different work environments and settings Are customer-oriented with excellent communication skillsAre a person who is punctual, respectful, and honest with a positive attitude Have an excellent attention to detail Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learnBasic Qualifications:Able to lift 50lbsAble to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of timeWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and WordExcellent customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood organizational and prioritization skillsMust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving recordAbility and willingness to travel to customers' locations in the South Windsor, CT Nice to have:CMM Calibration experienceGage/part inspection experienceKnowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experienceKnowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipmentAssociate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical FieldsTechnical Degree or CertificateMilitary PMEL TrainingMetrology experienceExperience with IndySoftAbout Us:Accredited Labs is a trusted provider of accredited calibration services.
