Second Shift Feed Packaging Operator

Burkmann Nutrition proudly produces wholesome animal nutrition products to support farmers large and small across Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia and North Carolina. Our Burkmann Danville production facility is actively seeking a skilled team member to accurately produce our high quality, intricately formulated feed and mineral products in our computer-based production plant. *Position Hours: 2PM - 10PM* Responsibilities of the Feed Packaging Operator Team Member will include but are not restricted to the following: *1) Become trained and proficient in all aspects of feed packaging including but not limited to:* * *Operate and monitor feed packaging and bagging equipment.* * *Accurately weigh and package finished feed products according to established specifications.* * *Inspect bags, labels, and finished products for quality and accuracy.* * *Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and work area.* * *Maintain accurate production and inventory records.* * *Follow all company safety procedures and proper equipment operating practice* *2)The successful candidate will:* * *Take pride in their work and their ability to accurately meet production goals.* * *Have experience in computerized manufacturing.* * *Be self-directed and flexible in the performance of their duties.* * *Be able to effectively communicate with other team members as required.* * *Have sincere interest in the Agricultural industry and working in the American food chain.* * *Demonstrate dependable, punctual work habits, be neat and well-groomed, and act in a courteous, professional manner.* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
