About the jobTHE MINDFUL SELF, LLC is an outpatient psychotherapy practice with our primary office at 31201 Chicago Rd, Suite A 201, Warren, MI 48093 and a second location at 64541 Van Dyke, Suite 101 B, Washington, MI 48095. Our focus is on providing comprehensive clinical psychotherapy services to our clients in a compassionate, mindful, and client-centered manner.Responsibilities/Role Description:The Mindful Self is looking to fill 2 positions:· The first is a full-time (minimum of 25 clients per week) hybrid role for a Clinical Psychotherapist at The Mindful Self’s Warren location. This position will require experience and willingness to work with children (ages 5+) and couples, primarily. This position will also require availability for at least 2 evenings per week. The Clinical Psychotherapist will be responsible for conducting therapy sessions (both in-person and via telehealth), developing treatment plans, completing treatment notes, assessing and diagnosing behavioral health conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to clients.· The second is a part-time (with the potential for full-time) hybrid role for a Clinical Psychotherapist at The Mindful Self’s Washington Twp location. This position will require experience and willingness to work with children (ages 5+) and couples, primarily. This position will also require availability for at least 2 evenings per week. The Clinical Psychotherapist will be responsible for conducting therapy sessions (both in-person and via telehealth), developing treatment plans, completing treatment notes, assessing and diagnosing behavioral health conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to clients.Qualifications:· Excellent clinical and communication skills· Experience in providing various psychotherapy techniques/approaches to a varied population of clients.· Experience in techniques/approaches for working with children (age 5+).· Experiences in techniques/approaches for working with couples and relationship dynamics.· Ability to make quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral health conditions· Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care· Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology with active licensure.
