The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.Housekeeper Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning and maintaining a private residence or commercial building to make sure that it meets any housekeeping sanitation requirements and provides a comfortable space for residents or employees.Dusting and polishing furniture and fixturesCleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinksMaintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen areaMaking beds and changing linensWashing windowsVacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugsSweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floorsSorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundryIroning clothing itemsUsing any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning toolsKeeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other suppliesCleaning mirrors and other glass surfacesEmptying trash receptacles and disposing of wasteSteaming and cleaning draperiesWashing blindsTidying up roomsMonitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as neededReporting any necessary repairs or replacement housekeeperDishwasher Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all dishes, cookware, and utensils are washed and sanitized according to strict health and safety standards.Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and vents, ensuring everything is in top shape.Keep kitchen and dining areas spotless, organized, and ready for service.Assist our talented cook with meal prep, always considering our residents' dietary needs and preferences.Help housekeepers serve meals and maintain a welcoming and clean dining area for residents.Skills And QualificationsKnowledge of and experience in Cleaning and Sanitising rooms to varying levels to meet requirements, Willingness to Learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment, Ability to Adapt to Different Situations and Change Work Processes to accommodate customer needs, Ability to Take Criticism, Listening Skills to make sure that they are meeting the needs of their clients for cleanliness and sanitation standards, Good Customer Service skills, Reliability, Organizational skills, Integrity and Honesty, High Energy Levels.What We RequireLive-Scan Fingerprint Clearance CPR/First Aid CertificateNegative TB Test and Health Screening In-person work location at Glen Park at Valley Village, located at 5527 Laurel Canyon Blvd, Valley Village, CA 91607.Available ShiftsAM Shift: 7am to 3:30pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) Flexibility required; schedule may vary based on business needs.Comprehensive Benefits PackageDental and vision benefits.Medical plan options with employer contribution.Paid vacation time.Paid sick leave.Life insurance coverage.Paid holidays, including major holidays.Benefits are provided according to company policy and are subject to the terms outlined in the employee handbook.
