Senior Program Manager – Large-Scale Capital ProjectsOverviewWe are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale capital projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role oversees $100M+ CAPEX programs, driving execution across multiple workstreams while ensuring schedules, deliverables, and quality standards are met. This is a high-visibility opportunity to contribute to a major site expansion initiative.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end execution of large-scale CAPEX programs ($100M+) within a GMP-regulated environmentOwn program timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination across multiple workstreamsPartner with Engineering, Validation, Quality, Manufacturing, and external vendorsProvide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership throughout the full project lifecycleDrive accountability across stakeholders with minimal oversightProactively identify risks, mitigate issues, and maintain alignment with business objectivesCommunicate program status clearly to senior leadership and project teamsEnsure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and quality standardsRequired Qualifications15–25+ years of experience managing large capital projects or programsProven experience leading $100M+ CAPEX initiativesPharmaceutical manufacturing experience requiredStrong background working in GMP-regulated environmentsDemonstrated ability to lead complex, high-visibility initiatives with minimal oversightExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred ExperienceAPI (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing experience (highly preferred)Fill-finish, parenteral manufacturing, or GMP device assembly experienceExperience supporting site expansions, greenfield, or brownfield buildsSoft Skills & Key AttributesHighly motivated, self-starter mindsetAbility to hit the ground running in fast-paced environmentsComfortable operating in high-pressure, evolving programsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguityTeam-oriented leader motivated by high-impact workWork EnvironmentOn-site role in Richmond, VA supporting a large-scale pharmaceutical site expansionFull-time on-site presence required, particularly during initial project phases
