TYPICAL DUTIES: Supervises subcontractors and provides a liaison between the architects, engineers, owner’s representatives, inspectors, and trades to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications. Plans the work schedule, holds job site meetings, monitors manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements. Oversees work performance and productivity of trades to ensure the schedule, project rules, procedures, safety requirements, and inspections are maintained. Advises the project manager of potential problems, scheduling difficulties, and work interferences, and is proactive in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.
