Role Description This is a hybrid internship role for a Social Media Manager, located in Chicago, IL, with the flexibility to perform some tasks remotely. The Social Media Manager will oversee the organization's social media channels to enhance engagement and amplify awareness. Responsibilities include developing and implementing content strategies, managing social media calendars, creating and posting content, optimizing social media profiles, and monitoring analytics to assess engagement metrics and performance. Qualifications Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) techniquesStrong skills in Communication and Writing to create clear and engaging posts and messagesExperience in crafting and executing effective Content Strategies for digital platformsFamiliarity with analytics and tools to measure and improve performancePassion for empowering girls and supporting nonprofit missionsAbility to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to hybrid work environmentsPrior experience in social media management or marketing is a plus
