Certified Journeyman (Solar-Traveler)

Capitol Valley Electric is a nationwide utility-scale engineering, procurement and construction renewable energy service provider and contractor behind some of North America's largest, most complex energy projects.Our team is comprised of the brightest most well-rounded electricians in the industry.We are currently looking for Certified Electricians with experience in Solar to work on Prevailing and Private Wage jobs. Must be willing to work in or near Sonora or Westley, CA.Paid HOTEL and Per Diem based on Job and Job LocationResponsibilities And DutiesPulling electrical wire including Romex, MC Cable, underground feeder wire, etc. Digging trenches and working in trenchesIdentifying and separating wires by colorInstalling and securing cables, raceways, and other conductorsCarrying material and tools from location to location (possibly up to 75bs)Assisting in moving heavy electrical equipmentElectrical terminationsHand bending pipe and other forms of conduitWorking in electrical panels managing wiresTaking direction from superiorsCleaning up individual work area as well as job siteWorking on extension ladders, scaffolds, and scissor lifts (possibly up to 100 feet)Working with power tools and hand tools possibly above headWear Personal Protective Equipment at all times while on the job siteQualifications And SkillsSolar electrical experienceCA General Electrician licenseOSHA 10 or OSHA 30Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. Must have comprehensive knowledge of pipe bending, Ohm's law, 3 and 4 way switching, wire pulling, and electrical code comprehension. Must possess problem solving skills and be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Must be okay working in extreme weather conditions.
