This position offers strong career growth potential and the opportunity to take increasing ownership of projects and leadership responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural engineering analysis and design with minimal supervisionDevelop structural concepts and execute detailed engineering calculations and designsApply sound engineering judgment in evaluating and adapting engineering techniques, procedures, and criteriaConduct lateral analysis and design for wind and seismic loading in accordance with applicable building codesCoordinate with structural designers and other engineering disciplines to ensure design integration and project successPrepare, review, and check calculations, drawings, and design documentationPerform calculation checks and quality reviews of engineering work completed by peersManage assigned scope of work to meet project schedules, budgets, and quality expectationsIdentify scope changes and communicate impacts to project leadershipProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designersSupport continuous improvement initiatives, workflows, and emerging engineering technologiesParticipate in occasional field walks and site visits as requiredRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredMinimum 10 years of structural engineering experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. building codes including:IBCASCE 7ACIAISCExperience with structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structuresProficiency with structural engineering software and tools including:STAADNavisworksBluebeamStrong understanding of lateral systems, wind design, and seismic provisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsExperience leading small engineering teams or serving as a lead engineer on projectsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural emphasisStructural Engineer (SE) licenseExperience supporting semiconductor, industrial, or manufacturing facility projectsAdditional experience with advanced structural analysis and coordination toolsAspen Technical StaffingCELEBRATING 25 YEARS ~2001-2026~We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
