We are currently recruiting for the position of VAS Associate for our Hanover Township, PA location.All candidates must satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screening.The RoleThe VAS/Receiving Associate responsible for labeling, kitting, and palletizing retail orders for shipping. This role is repetitive in nature and could require packing the same product repetitively without changing to a different product. The associate will receive incoming shipments and ensure the incoming inventory matches what is in the system by investigating, attempting to resolve, and verifying any receiving item count variances. Separate customer returns from other items needing to be received or taken to a different department. Load and unload outbound shipments and check for accuracy.Responsibilities:Kitting, Assembly, Repackaging, Labeling, Ticketing and other similar tasks for shippingUse a tablet, scanner, and printer equipped with our pack out software to pack order appropriatelyManage inbound/outbound shipmentsCheck for correct labels, case count, pallet count, weights, and locations of delivery.Verify all incoming freight.Report any discrepancies with various departments regarding product condition, packing slips, and receiver reports.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Warehouse experience (preferred)Receiving and/or inventory experience (preferred)Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructionsComply effectively with company work and safety rules.Continually meet assigned production standards.Trained and certified to operate any required equipment.Basic computer knowledgePossess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAble to stand, sit, kneel, bend for extended amount of timeAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have ability to lift or move at least 40lbsMust be able to work independently and as a teamSelf-directed and self-motivatedComply with company attendance policiesMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulationsBe at least 18 years oldJob TypeFull-time, Non-Exempt, HourlyEducationHigh school or equivalent (Required)Work AuthorizationUnited States (Required)Benefits:Benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, life, long-term disability, supplemental benefits, 401K, holiday pay, personal and paid time-off.Employee EventsGreat Culturea2b Fulfillment is actively involved in giving back to our community.A2b Fulfillment is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
