Known for our integrity and deep legal knowledge, we are dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our clients.Job Overview:A Residential Real Estate Paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting real estate attorneys and facilitating the smooth execution of residential real estate transactions. This position involves a combination of administrative tasks, document management, some legal research, and ensuring that all legal requirements and client needs are met during the buying and selling of residential properties.Key Responsibilities:1. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to provide updates, answer questions, and facilitate a smooth process.2. Closing Coordination: Coordinate and schedule closings, ensuring all parties are informed of the date, time, and location, and assist in the preparation of closing documents.3. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and drafting correspondence.4. Due Diligence: Assist in gathering information about the property, such as property tax records, surveys, zoning, and land use data, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information.5. Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, including settlement statements, closing packages, purchase agreements, deeds, mortgages, and other relevant contracts necessary for residential real estate transactions.6. File Management: Maintain organized and detailed files for each transaction, tracking all documentation and correspondence to ensure accurate record-keeping.Qualifications:1. Education: A Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree is preferred.2. Paralegal Certification: A certification as a paralegal is a plus, but not required.3. Experience: Previous experience as a real estate paralegal or in a similar legal support role is highly desirable, but not required, we are willing to train you.4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and all involved parties effectively.5. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail when reviewing legal documents and conducting research.6. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple transactions and documents simultaneously.7. Computer Skills: Proficiency in legal software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.8.
