Job Description
The Senior Service/Installation Technician is a member of the Operations Team. This individual collaborates and works closely with all team members in both production and engineering. They have the required Mechatronic skills to Install/Service/Maintain company's systems, whether at company or the customer’s facility, including correctly read layout and schematic drawings, produce installation bill of materials, produce installation plans, and install equipment using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications.
The Senior Service/Installation Technician has the capability to perform all tasks and responsibilities required of the Installation Department and can rotate through job tasks required to keep projects on budget and on schedule. Depending on business needs, this individual may occasionally be required to support the Production Manager with various assigned tasks.
The Senior Service Technician must be capable of ensuring all equipment is serviced or installed per established Company standards, specifications, and tolerances, is finished at or under budget, and is completed according to the project schedule.
NOTE: This may occasionally require working additional hours on Fridays and Weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Advanced Mechatronic skills and knowledge
Excellent writing skills with appropriate knowledge of technical terms
Correctly interpret and follow technical blueprints and schematics (i.e. System layouts, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
Develop or utilize critical documents such as Installation Plans, Service Reports, Parts Lists, etc.
Work closely with Project Managers/ Engineering/ Production Supervisors in developing schedules and assigning resources for installations.
Organize and lead Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of projects at customers’ facilities.
Capable of insuring that all materials, tools, and equipment critical for successful installations and repairs are prepared and available for each assignment.
Understands and follows all OSHA and AEC safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Enter required information to complete records, logs, and other report forms
Maintain quality, consistency, and cleanliness of all work and areas.
High energy, positive, and able to flex with changing projects and schedules
Capable of multitasking
Willing to help others and learn new skills outside of daily job requirements when needed or as current project demands (i.e., Assembly, Fabrication, Machining, etc.)
Keeps workspace clean and safe on a daily basis
Communicates regularly with the VP of Operations, Project Managers, Engineering, and Production Foreman about any issues, concerns, or needs in a timely manner
Understands and follows all applicable AEC procedures and processes (i.e., material flow, parts management, department standards, and procedures, etc.) as well as timekeeping and job tracking

Pay: $20.56 - $24.77 per hour
