Game Designer

FrameShift is a Roblox game studio based in Miami. We started in 2024 with a simple goal: make games on Roblox that are actually worth playing. We're a small team — which means the people we bring in have a real say in what we build and how we build it. About this role You'd be figuring out what the game actually is — the loops, the systems, how progression works, what keeps people coming back. You'd write the specs that programmers build from and stay involved until it ships right. You Will Define and document core gameplay loops, progression systems, and economy structures Write design specifications that engineers can build from without needing constant hand-holding Collaborate with Engineering and Art to validate that implemented features match design intent Iterate on mechanics based on playtesting feedback and live game data Maintain a central design reference document for the current game in development You Have Experience designing systems for live or shipped games Can write a clear design doc that programmers can actually use Some feel for economy design, progression, or both Comfortable working in Notion, Linear, or comparable project management tools Roblox experience is a plus — you should at least understand the platform J-18808-Ljbffr
