Sr. Logistics Analyst (Hybrid)

SSI needs to add an experienced Logistician to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy / Marine Corps. *This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.* The position supports PMA-205 Program Office within PEO (CS), for the Tactical Combat Training System Inc. II (TCTS II) as a Logistics Management Specialist. The position will support the following programs within PMA-205: Portable Undersea Training Range (PUTR) II, Systems Replacement and Modernization (SRAM), Range Modification Program (RaMP) IPTL, and Training Range and Instrumentation Development (TRID). *Duties will include:* * Provides guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs Conducts logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses and provides recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs. * Provides recommendations for changes to site support, including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation, and facilities. * Provides recommendations for the development of LCC and TOC Management Plans. * Provides recommendations for the review and development of maintenance plans/Logistics Support Analysis (/LSA) records, maintenance tasks and LORA recommendations. * Approximately 25% travel to a variety of remote sites, other DoD installations, and industry locations. If this aligns with your experience and sounds like it is the career path you wish to progress, these are the requirements to be considered for these positions: *Specific Duties:* * Develop and maintain a LCSP and maintenance support plan for the WISS and LTS systems. * Ensure proper tracking and resolution of system trouble reports submitted by WISS and LTS ranges. * Review SRAM and RaMP proposed projects to ensure they are executable. * Maintain technical data for WISS and LTS systems, as well as SRAM and RaMP projects. * Ensure DD250/1149s are uploaded for SRAM and RaMP projects prior to closure. *Education:* * MS or MA Degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management. *Allowable Substitution:* * Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s. * 6 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. *Experience:* * At least 10 years of experience in acquisition Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis related to in-service support of DoD weapons systems. Four years of experience in the performance of comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of ILS elements, during a job assignment in an Acquisition Command or supporting an acquisition command.
