Diversity of thought and the collaboration of various life experiences are what drive growth and innovation at AMF.Job Summary:Pulling work orders, placing received items on the shelves, packing and delivering orders, process all orders for shipment, provide assistance as needed at machine shop work centers.Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Include, but not limited to:Assure that all safety procedures and policies are followedPut products away in assigned locations with proper tags attachedPick up parts and supplies from vendors and other AMF outside locationsDistribute received goods to machine shop work centers or shelvesAccurately pull, count, and issue product from racks for delivery to various production areas.Load and unload trucks as necessaryPack and/or crate parts for shipmentMaintain parts shipping documents for parts being delivered to vendorsInventory checking/counting, annually and as requiredAssist at various work centers in the machine shop as requiredAssist in the implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives.Maintain maintenance log for AMF Box TruckDaily/weekly/monthly housekeeping as requiredEducation/Experience: Include, but not limited to:High School Education or EquivalentSome Warehouse Experience RequiredForklift experience preferredBox truck driving experience - (DL- Excellent Driving Record) – NO CDL License requiredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Include, but not limited to:Ability to operate a Forklift Truck in a safe mannerLoad and unload trucks as necessary.Able to comprehend verbal and written instructions.General warehouse experience preferredAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to prioritize and juggle multiple taskComputer literateKnowledge using MS Office productsWorking Conditions:Typical manufacturing facility conditions.Indoors (95%) and outdoors (5%) working conditions.Drive box truck up to 50% of work weekFacility is climate controlledTeammate must be able to stand on concrete floors for a minimum of eight hours. Kneeling, squatting, bending over and standing for long periods of time may be required to perform assigned tasksSafety steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are requiredLong pants and a sleeved shirt (short sleeve at a minimum) are required.
