This position focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and team leadership to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesWork hands-on with maintenance technicians to repair and maintain production equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsPerform emergency repairs to minimize production downtimeLead preventive maintenance activities and equipment inspectionsSupervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safetyDiagnose equipment failures and determine root causesAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, and line changeoversEnsure lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA complianceCoordinate maintenance activities with production leadershipMaintain accurate work orders, logs, and maintenance documentationHands-On Knowledge & Experience RequiredStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and production machineryAbility to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagramsWorking knowledge of PLC basics, sensors, VFDs, and control panels (troubleshooting level)Experience with welding, fabrication, and general facility maintenance preferredProficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentQualifications3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environmentPrior lead or supervisory experience preferredTechnical certification or trade school background a plusStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsWork RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periodsWillingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends or on-callMaintenance experience: 3 years (required)Millwright experience: 2 years (preferred)Leadership experience: 2 years (required)
