Shipyard CarpenterWe are seeking skilled shipyard carpenters to support vessel construction, repair, and maintenance projects throughout Hampton Roads shipyards. This role focuses on building, installing, and repairing structural and interior components on marine vessels while working in a fast-paced industrial environment.Responsibilities include:Construct, install, and repair shipboard structures including bulkheads, decking, partitions, and fixturesMeasure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, composite, and marine-grade materialsRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to complete projects accuratelyPerform structural repairs and modifications to vessels, dry docks, and marine facilitiesInstall interior components such as doors, panels, flooring, and cabinetryInspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsOperate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and efficientlyCollaborate with welders, fitters, and other trades to complete shipyard projectsJob Type: Full-timePay: $24.00- $25.00 Per hourAmeri-Force BenefitsAs part of the Ameri-Force team, a recognized ESOP company, you have a personal stake in the collective success of the organization, fostering a collaborative and rewarding work environment.
