This is a full-time, in person position. The Safety Project Engineer supports project-level safety coordination and serves as a key office-side safety leader across multiple active projects. This role builds upon foundational office safety experience and transitions into ownership of safety meetings, trade accountability, and implementation of Holder Construction’s safety program.Key ResponsibilitiesLead project-level safety coordination and serve as the primary office-side safety contactReview and hold subcontractors accountable for safety deliverables, including safety plans, JHAs, and crane plansLead safety meetings, including kickoffs, safety committee meetings, and worker feedback sessionsCoordinate and manage onsite safety training and safety incentive initiativesConduct accident investigations and support ELTsTrack safety metrics, observations, incidents, and lessons learnedReview crane plans and support engineered lift planningSupport campus-wide safety eventsProvide overall office support to Holder field safety professionalsQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management/EHS or a related field OR 3+ years of equivalent safety experienceKnowledge of construction industry practices, codes, and safety standardsStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPreferredExperience with a general contractorProfessional safety certifications (e.g., GSP, CHST, CSP)Experience leading safety meetings and investigationsHolder is committed to Equal Opportunity Employment (EOE).Substance abuse testing and a background screening is a condition of employment and Holder Construction does not sponsor applicants for immigration status or benefits.
